Event Name: Year of Tiger Lantern Festival and Taiwan-Texas Visual Art Award
Location:  Murchison Middle School
               (Same place of Austin Chinese School, Far West)
                3701 North Hill Drive, Austin, TX
Time:  Saturday, 2-27-10 from 6~9 p.m.
Tickets:  $10 -- Adults for non-ACTCC members
             $5 -- Age 5-12 or  ACTCC members
             $0 --  Less than age of 5.
             ACTCC membership renew -- $30.
 
Event Program:
(1) Dinner from Mandarin House
(2) 2010 U.S. Census Promotion -- Free T-shirt and free Kite are given out to
ticket holders (First come first serve until out of stock).
(3) Taiwanese Dim Sum Try-outs (no contest this year)
(4) Year 2010 Taiwan-Texas Visual Art Award & Artists' words on their art
works related to Taiwan or Texas.  This is an important part of this event to
encourage Taiwanese Americans to trace back of their roots and how they live
in Texas.
(5) Youth Talent show  -- Vocal & Story-telling, Quartet (Cello, Viola,
Violins), Taiwanese/Chinese Songs.
(6) Wisdom Lightening-up Ceremony for Kids -- Phil, Ali, Shanker --I would
like to invite you to joining Bill Spelman in the lighten-up ceremony as Asian
community leaders (NAAO, AAACC, AARC).  Please call or e-mail me.  Thanks.
