신규주택 판매율 최저수준 기록
 
 
미국 상무부는 올해 1월 신규주택 판매율이 309,000주택으로 지난 12월 348,000주택에 비해 11.2퍼센트 더 감소했다고 발표했습니다.  이번 판매율은 지난해 2009년 1월 329,000주택에 비해 6.1퍼센트 더 낮은것으로, 1963년 이래 가장 낮은 수치를 기록했고, 지난 세달 연속 계속해서 하향세를 보이고 있습니다.
 

1월 신규주택 판매율의 중간값은 $203,500으로 1년전 가격보다 2.4퍼센트 하락했고, 1월 말에 통계상 234,000개의 주택, 즉 현재 판매율로는 앞으로 9.1개월 정도의 수요가 아직 남아있는것으로 확인됐습니다.  이 수요는 작년 4월이래 가장 많은 것으로 알려졌습니다.

New-Home Sales Hit Record Low
Sales of new single-family homes fell 11.2 percent in January to 309,000 units from 348,000 units in December, the U.S. Commerce Department reports. New-home sales were 6.1 percent below the January 2009 estimate of 329,000. This marks an all-time low in new-home sales on records dating back to 1963 and the third straight month of declines.

The median sale price of new homes sold in January was $203,500, a 2.4 percent decline from a year ago. An estimated 234,000 new homes were available for sale at the end of the month, representing a 9.1-month supply at the current sales rate.
